    《What can you do》说课稿:



    Unit 4 What can you do Let’s learn


    Good morning, my dear judges. I'm No8. I’ m gland to share my teaching design here. Today my topic is “Unit 4 What can you do?”which is from PEP English book2 of grade 5.There are five parts in my teaching design.


    1. Analysis of teaching materials and Ss


    This lesson is about sports activities and what students can do.


    By studying this unit ,their speaking and listening skills can be improved. If students can master it well, it will be helpful for the next Learning.


    Students in Grade 5 also have some basic English knowledge. They are active, curious to new interesting things,but most of them are not confident to express themselves, so I will set more interesting activities for them to speak English.


    2 .Analysis of teaching aims


    (1) Knowledge aims:


    Ss can master the new words and key sentences.


    (2) Ability aims:


    Ss can improve the ability of listening and speaking.


    (3) Emotional aims:


    Ss will cultivate more hobbies and the ability of corporation.


    3 Analysis of teaching key and difficult points


    The Key point is master the key sentences&have a conversation ,use them in daily life is difficult point.


    4 Analysis of teaching methods and aids


    I’ll use“Task-based ,TPR and communicative ”teaching method .


    I 'll I also use the word card, PPT . video to organize teaching activities.


    Before the class I was divided Ss into two groups . If they answer my question correctly and actively ,they can get an Apple. I ll also praised Ss with great .excellent supper. Besides. Ss can learn buy group work, pair work and self study.


    5 Analysis of teaching procedures


    Now, let’s move to the most important part of this lesson:- teaching procedures. This part is divided into 4 stages, Warming-up, presentation & practice, production,summary & homework.


    Step 1 Warming-up


    After greeting I will. Sing English song with students to create a better English Surroundings. At the same time, it will arouse students interest in learning English.


    Step 2 Presentation and Practice


    (1) Words learning and practice


    With the help of PPT ,I set a situation of Mr white's class will have an English party and ask students:do you want to know what they can do? to lead to pictures ,show them and ask students. What can they do ?By presenting new words and sentences in the situation that relate to Ss’ reall life to help them learn new words easily and naturally. When asking them, I will pay attention to students’reaction and the interaction . For example, when talking about “do kung fu”,I will ask them “Who can do kongfu in our class?”, and invite Tom to act out . Tell them that it is a good exercise to keep fit, This process can achieve emotional aims and cultivate more hobbies in daily life.


    After teaching these words and phrases,I will play a game named “ Act & say ”with students to practice all the TPR teaching method is adopted in this stage. Doing actions is a good way for the primary students to have a better understanding of the meaning of the words and to remember them better.


    In this stage,I use phonics teach them the pronunciation of new words and let them to read after the tape by groups by themselves After this ,I’ll play a game “ jump and say”. I’ll hold card above their head, let Ss to touch jump and read it . This process used TPR teaching method to have a better understanding of the new word &phrase.


    Step 4 Summary and homework


    AS students are the subject of the class, so I provide chance for them to be the teacher and lead us to read the phrases &sentences . At the end of class, I’ll also leave them a task, do a survey on what your friends can do and share your findings next time. This can consolidate what we have learned in the lesson.


    6 Analysis of blackboard design


    Look,here are my lay -out,the left part is new words,and the right part is the key sentences.Its clear for Ss to take notes.That s all of my teaching desire ,there are also some shortcomings,but I will try my best to overcome it ,hope u can support me ,thank u so much.
